This past week The Secret Number screened at the Charleston International Film Festival!
My producer Frank Ponce and lead actor Daniel Jones were in attendance.
Daniel Jones got a lot of press. He's a superstar in Charleston!
And, we went on to win the Jury Award for Best Short! Cool, eh?
Here’s a quick video update from me, in which I discuss our plans to release the film online.
Mark your calendars for June 15th, 2012! Our goal is to put the film online on that date, and get our DVDs out into the hands of our Kickstarter backers *before* that.
Over the course of this project we’ve gone through several iterations of the poster design. We did a concept poster, a teaser poster, and then a poster for school. But none of them really felt totally right for the film.
Here’s my most recent attempt, and I think I’m happy to call this the final poster for The Secret Number.

The Savannah Film Festival happened last week and “The Secret Number” screened in the Student Shorts category. Unfortunately I was unable to attend, cause I was busy in LA mixing the film!
But our producer Frank Ponce was in Savannah to represent the represent the film….and accept our awards!
